Both my kids (ages 3 & 5) have a Twilight. They have had them from little on. At first they just liked the lit up shell and then they realized there were stars on the ceiling. My five year old is now into the constellations. Its amazing how they are "growing" into their turtle and ladybug! I would recommend this for all ages and when your looking for a gift that is gender neutral, the turtle is perfect. Its also nice to buy this as a gift because the batteries are included along with a star guide.
